I recently purchased the Canon Elura 100. I’ve been capturing pictures of my ferrets and will eventually create a movie. When I can find the time. My fuzzbutts are doing well.

I’m happy to see that Ganesh and Indra, my oldest ferts, teeth are almost back to white. When I adopted them from Rocky’s they were already showing signs of tooth decay. Although I brushed their teeth daily it didn’t seem to work until I converted them to an all raw diet. Problem solved!

Ferrets: My Ferrets Raw Food Has Been Chopped & Packed Away

Yesterday I bought 30 pounds of raw chicken. I broke it down a few hours ago. It took about 30 minutes to chop up everything with the cleaver separate into quart size baggies, combine 3-4 quart size baggies into a gallon bag, and move into the freezer.

My fuzzbabies (ferrets and dogs) will love it. They are all raw fed.  My dogs, Lalita and Mr. Bentley love chicken hearts. I tossed them a few while I was breaking down the chicken of course they eagerly wolfed up the tidbits.

Ferrets Hiding Food

You know I thought my fuzzbutts were keeping their raw meaty bones in their home. I discovered a few hidden treats under my bed last week and one today.  My ferrets had had them wrapped up so I couldn’t even smell them. Silly ferts!

Mr. Bentley the Shih Tzu

I featured my maltese, Lalita, in my previous post so it’s only natural that I feature
my other furbaby, Mr. Bentley. When I received him from my brother his teeth were very bad. He wasn’t even two years old since switching him to a raw diet consisting of mainly meaty bones. I have seen a miraculous improvement.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association 85-95% of animals (household pets), three years of age or older, have some form of periodontal disease. Wow! Read the rest of this entry »
