Ferrets: Indra (Albino), Kali (Sable) looking on, and Hanuman (silver mitt) digging

What’s Going To Work? Teamwork!

Here you can see three of my four ferrets Indra (Albino), Kali (Sable), and Hanuman (Silver Mitt) working together as a team. They were digging. Ferrets love to dig!

Ferrets: Hanuman (Silver Mitt) and Kali (Sable)

Here’s a picture of sweet Kali (sable) serving as the lookout (or perhaps she was just waiting for her turn) while Hanuman digs. My ferrets were fascinating to watch when one got tired the others would quickly step in and continue digging.

I thought it was pretty creative for them to all my ferrets to work together as a team. They love digging at that hole they go back to it every time I take them outside. It’s more of a tunnel now and a ferret can hide in it and pounce out on a poor unsuspecting ferret sibling or mom.

Ferret: Indra (albino)

I can take a cue from my furbabies on how to relax. Check out my ferret Indy baby! He’s the king of relaxation, lol.

At times I forget how beautiful my ferrets really are Indra is truly one beautiful animal. He’s an albino ferret. The improvements I’ve seen since switching them to a raw fed diet are nothing short of impressive.

Ferrets: Hanuman (Silver Mitt) and Indra (Albino)

I took this picture last week. I had to laugh since it looked like my ferrets Hanuman (silver mitt) and Indra (Albino) were inspecting the area. My fuzzbutts keep me laughing. They are such sweet companions.

Ferret: Kali (sable)

How could I have forgotten to repost these ferret pictures? If you blinked (or new to this website), you won’t remember my post about how I accidentally wiped out my database when I moved ferretshaven.com/dook to ferretshaven.com.

Ferrets: Kali (sable) and Indra (silver mitt)

My ferrets (Kali & Hanuman) love to swim, and I usually turn them loose on the pool a few times each week. They can dive and dunk to their hearts content.

Thankfully I didn’t lose everything just about a week worth of posting; however, my pictures of my ferrets swimming were wiped out. However since I am the backup queen, I still have the ferret pictures. Enjoy!

Ferrets: Ganesh & Kali (sable ferrets)

All my ferrets follow Ganesh around. They all seem to look upon him as their leader. He’s a great leader.

Hanuman, my silver mitt ferret, occasionally acts like the loud obnoxious kid. He’s high energy, the life of the party and a lot of fun to have around but sometimes Ganesh will put him in his place when he gets out of hand. Hanuman is about 1/2 pound bigger than Ganesh he quickly learned that just because he’s bigger it doesn’t mean he’s stronger.

Ganesh’s sweet disposition keeps the other ferrets following him like shadows. When Indra was sick he was the first ferret to go over to him and curl up beside him. Kali and Hanuman soon followed their big brothers example. When he felt that Indra needed to be alone he made the others ferrets follow him so Indra could have some quiet time.

In this picture my ferret Kali was going into the alligator roll in hopes of trying to flip her big brother Ganesh. He usually humors her.  He’s such a sweet ferret. Next month Ganesh and Indra will be two years old, and Hanuman and Kali turn one year old.  I love my ferrets!
