Ferrets: Albino, Silver Mitt, Sable

Ferrets: Indra (Albino), Kali (Sable) looking on, and Hanuman (silver mitt) digging

What’s Going To Work? Teamwork!

Here you can see three of my four ferrets Indra (Albino), Kali (Sable), and Hanuman (Silver Mitt) working together as a team. They were digging. Ferrets love to dig!

Ferrets: Sable (Kali) & Silver Mitt (Indra)

Ferrets: Hanuman (Silver Mitt) and Kali (Sable)

Here’s a picture of sweet Kali (sable) serving as the lookout (or perhaps she was just waiting for her turn) while Hanuman digs. My ferrets were fascinating to watch when one got tired the others would quickly step in and continue digging.

I thought it was pretty creative for them to all my ferrets to work together as a team. They love digging at that hole they go back to it every time I take them outside. It’s more of a tunnel now and a ferret can hide in it and pounce out on a poor unsuspecting ferret sibling or mom.

hmmmm digging a hole to China, huh? My daughters dogs did that once. Your ferrets are so cute. I am amazed at the team work too. That takes a lot of intelligence.

I love ferrets. They are soooo cute and fun to play with. That is cool the way they take turns digging.

I have chinchillas… and a rabbit, a dog, a cat, budgie birds and chickens… and wild pigeons living in my chicken shed that aren’t afraid of me.

Happy Hunting. Come on over and check out my blog.

    Pam,
It does doesn’t it, lol. Kali’s nickname is “little scrapper”. Shes smaller than her brothers but boy can she take them down if they mess with her.

    kissedalotoftoads,
No they didn’t get that far although I bet they wish they could have. My four year old daughter was trying to help them escape.

    AndMilestoGo,
Thanks! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

    kathy,
Thanks! I hope you enjoyed your photohunt!

    DaisytheCurlyCat,
    Great idea! :-)
    Dragonheart,
I agree! Of course I’m very proud of them.

    Paulie,
Yes they are very creative. They are very intelligent animals.

    meeuyauw,
So it would seem, right? :-)
    Imma,
You have a lot of animals. I love it. I’ll stop by this evening.

Criz’s Sanctuary, :-) You made me think of the movie Journey to the Center of The Earth. I love reading and I’ve read that book.

    Cats~Goats~Quotes,
Thanks! I enjoy posting their pictures.

What’s going to work - Teamwork! Isn’t that from the cartoon, The Wonderpets? Does Aiyana watch that show? My great niece watches it so I have seen it and heard that song many times over. I just about fell over laughing when I saw you had posted it! Too funny and so appropriate with your ferret pictures! :)

These additional family members are just hilarious to hang out with!

My brother-in-law had some and they were just way too much fun. They sounded like a heard of elephants running through the house on the hard wood floor.

The only set backs with these things are,
    (1) They gnaw through wood like nothing!
(2)They can and will escape from anything that you think in escape proof!!!

Watch your back!(or should I say your good wooden furniture)
